Research support grant
The NEFRO-NL research network aims to stimulate investigator-initiated research in nephrology. A key element of this is supporting promising grant applications.
Therefore, in 2026, NEFRO-NL launched its first call for grants up to €2,000, intended to support researchers in writing and submitting a joint grant application for scientific research in nephrology.
In February 2026, the NEFRO-NL research support grant was awarded to:

– Dr. R. Vernooij, UMCU
– Dr. H. Joosten, MUMC+
